..I'll put you a squirt of colgate on the choc chip one Safiya! Quiet - at the farm - during school holidays - you jest boxy!!?
The four children that usually live here, their cousins come down for the holidays, so that's another four, then their school friends stay over- my SIL puts out tents and the gazebo in the fallow field next to the house - looks like a rock festival sometimes!
LOL, I see what you mean, mercia - occupying the masses with cooking sounds an excellent idea!
Can I have a vanilla one please with a flake in it - or is that too greedy?
nah thanks mercia that would be horrible!!!.... and you shouldnt be running round with your knee being bad and all that..... ta anyway

got some flakes somewhere, and have an extra spoonful of clotted cream on top wickedly decadent!
Mmmmm. I'm drooling already.
Do you do mail order? :-)
Question Author
not any more, they used to with the meat, but not since mum and dad retired, there isn't time, but the hotels and butchers, plus a farmers market it's all they can do to keep up with supplies to them.
My father used to order mail order meat from a place in Devon........

I can't do anything for too long Safiya, sit stand walk or lie down! So sitting at the kitchen table mixing, then going to the freezers, then outside and back suits me, doing a bit of everything. Got to go for another scan on Tuesday -hopefully that'll get to the root of the problem
it just seemed like an awful lot to have made considering you really ought to be resting.... i guess you know your limits..... good luck on tuesday

aww i dont like lobster (or most seafood) but i wouldnt mind trying it with avocado.... have you got a recipe? think ill have to get my mate to make some as i dont have an icecream maker .....

thanks for that :) i love tomato and i love cheese, i cant wait to try it :)
Sounds lovely....but were just 3 ice cream makers enough for 6 flavours?....I mean-just the freezing time alone means a lot of waiting for those kids.
Can we all have a taste very soon?
Question Author
By the time the second batch of flavours was ready, the first three were frozen enough to go into containers into the fridge. The Italian maker mum's got makes two litres in twenty minutes, the other two take a little longer, around 30 mins to make 1 and a half litres, and 1 litre respectively
