what kind or make of cream cheese can you usse for the topping on a carrot cake many thanks

I use philadelphia, you can use mascarpone or something called Quark

I make butter butter icing, flavoured with orange essence - if you make it not too sweet then it goes very well.

Mmmmm... sorry its not an answer but vodkancoke mentionesd CAKE and Philadelphia cheese, 2 of my favourite foods - must try this one!!!!
