Ice cream flavours

Ok, I've done strawberry, chocolate and vanilla ice creams to death now.

Thinking I may try some more unusual ones (with an ice cream maker). I fancy pistachio and brown bread ice cream.

What others could you suggest?

I don't like ice cream much, but have just discovered that Carte d'or Vanilla light is very nice and not creamy and funnily enough have just had a dishful with some fruit. Don't like flavoured ice cream at all.

there was the, uh, special flavour Buenchico linked to last night, but I am not going to repeat the link. Can you do citrus flavours like lime or orange?

My local ice cream shop does Tablet Ice Cream (which has chunks of tablet through it) and Irn Bru flavour. Both delicious :)

Lottie, I find Carte d'Or vanilla is quite strongly vanilla flavoured.... more than most other manufacturers' vanilla flavour, anyway.

she had an operation on her knee a little while ago, it keeps on swelling up and she had a soft tissue infection around it that's proving troublesome and as she can't take penicillin, difficult to clear up.
