Addicted to rubbish sweets?

Some friends came over recently with their kids, so ...

... I bought a 5kg bucket of sweets from Costco (about the size of a normal bucket).

Well, they didn't get round to opening them ... so I've been picking at them.

These are really rubbish sweets ... Love Hearts, chewy things, various lollies, Fizzers, Drumsticks, etc.

What's the best option?

Eat them all quick, so they don't have time to settle on my hips?

Ration myself to (say) 50 sweets a day?

Run an extra mile so the sweets don't count?

Send them to AB towers to be used as the awards for when the mark as best answer works.
Palma Violets- love 'em!
My mother had a dialect word for such sweets, "ket". Whenever given any money I would be told, "Don't waste it all on ket".
What Chuck said.

Yep, they have the little balls. Four in each pack. I just tear the end open, and squeeze all four out into my mouth. Actually, they don't taste of very much.
Eat them all quick, you will get the humungous runs and nothing will settle anywhere
there were some like pretty coulered cushions as I recall, always used to clag together

B00 ... the Parma Violets are the only ones I don't like.

Eventually, the bucket will be empty except for a layer of Parma Violets in the bottom.

They don't have the cushion ones, Mopsy.

My faves are the lollies which have a slightly curved top, and the bottom half is a different colour, and they're a bit powdery (not a great description, sorry).

flying saucers with sherbet in them?
Question Author
That's them, Pixi !!!

Clever you.

I pull the stick out, and just eat the whole lolly at once.

Nope. No flying saucers.

But ... they did have buckets, the same size, just full of hundreds of flying saucers.

I didn't think that seemed very healthy though.
