I live by the sea and the cost of fish is astronomical.
Sometimes I go to Leeds to shop & the fish is cheaper inland than here - it doesn't make sense.
Luckily Mr O enjoys sea fishing so I have a freezer full of cod & mackerel.
I know what you mean, i bought 2 sea bass from the local fishermans huts and they cost over 15 admittidly they were yummy, but only as a occasional treat at that price lol

I know what you mean - I love to make fish pie but you practically need a loan to buy fish nowadays. It's a shame because I prefer fish to meat but just can't afford to buy it very often.
