Mmmm one of my faves

Thinly sliced cooked chicken.
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp cornflour
3fl.oz. cold water
1 tbsp Sesame Oil
Salt and black pepper
2 tbsp veg oil
In of grated ginger
1 1/2pts chicken stock
14oz sweetcorn
1 beaten egg
2 sliced spring onions to garnish

Place the chicken in a bowl, and stir in the soy sauce, cornflour, water, sesame oil and seasonings and mix.

Heat the veg oil in a large frying pan and fry ginger for a few seconds then add the stock and sweetcorn slices and bring to simmering.

Stir in the chicken mix and bring it to the boil stirring constantly. Reduce the heat and simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Pour the beaten egg into the hot soup, stirring all the time then serve with spring onion to garnish.
Nice - f you can find a tin of creamed corn in your supermarket, I'd suggest you use that.
Looks familar to what my girlfriend does. Yum!
Does it not have rice wine/sherry in it?
