Saturday. It's the weekend again. No frost, 6.2°C outside. Yer wee man on the idiot box is just telling us it's going to get colder and wetter, could be snow. Well it is winter! Never mind, we're on the downhill slope to spring.

Going to give the farmers market a miss today. Not a lot of energy, so I'm going to have a lazyish day. Might do the ironing. Then again I might not. :o}

Ive never tried Bovril, is it the same? I bought Colmans mustard yday & its not as hot as it used to be. I wish theyd stick to old recipes

Bovril is a beef extract, nice in a cheese sarnie, as a hot drink, can add it to things like mince beef to add a bit more flavour, also it's not salty like marmite. It's worth a try tam.

Colman's mustard is as hot as it used to be. I eschew the ready-mixed stuff and make my own fron the tin of powder. You can really taste the difference.
