Family day out...

my partner and I want a family day out with our 4month old son. any suggestions as to where we can go? not too expensive tho. originally planned a picnic but weather not turned out right!!

a 4 month old will be quite happy just being taken out in his pram.

My son at that age would go pretty much anywhere as long as it wasnt too noisy, he loved watching everything going on around him.

I used to take mine to the pet shop to watch the fish and the bubbles in the tanks - much cheaper than the aquarium!

our local swimming pool wasnt open to public at a suitable time to us so think we will go there next week.

annie - I did look at going to the Southend sealife center but cant believe how expensive it is now and it aint that big!!!

redcrx - my lil one is happy enough in the pram too (and doesnt mind noise) - but its me that need to be kept entertained, i get bored easily so need to go somewhere amusing lol!

we opted for a pinic indoors! may pop out later for a wander.
