Hoping the lovely people in chatterbank will have some suggestions for the following- I'm looking for days out that my boyfriend and me can go on. Anywhere around Warwickshire would be appropriate and indoors as well as outdoors suggestions would be appreciated as the weather is usually the main barrier to going out! TIA

Warwick is lovely. What about the castle?
Where is Warwickshire?

Thanks ummm- have been there many time but always enjoy it, will suggest that if it's a nice day on Thursday!
In the Midlands craft, home of Shakespeare! So anywhere around Midlands would be good really, Warwickshire, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire all possibilities too!
a LONG JUMP OFF A VERY HIGH CLIFF WOULD BE VERY NICE...FOR NASTY PEOPLE LIKE YOU!
Who / What? - who merited that?
i love the cheesy open topped bus tours of stratford. What about shopping at bicester outlet village?
My very first day in here and I got a very RUDE answer from Sophie-1003 NO THANKS ANSWERBANK!

I had a slight moan at bac for asking the same question in a number of topics!
Ooh would love Bicester Village but don't think my boyfriend would be keen! Yes would also like to try the open topped bus, we missed the last one when we went last time so that may be worth a try!
to be fair, bac60, asking duplicate questions is against Site Rules and you could have been reported.

but if you're new, stick around. we are (mostly) very nice :o)

reading back on my answer to bac's question it does sound a lot harsher than it was meant so many apologies bac!
Sophie, Bac, I saw Sophie's posting in another thread and to be honest what sophie said is a great deal more friendly that what some people on here might have said to you. Multiple postings are quite a nuisance and pointing that out is not particularly nasty. I had what you might call a shirty response to one of my very first postings - but I thought - oh well, so you live and learn how it works on here. Retaliation (particularly in a completely separate post) doesn't get anyone any Brownie points.

(sorry to hijack your post about warwickshire, sophie - this looks like a good website http://www.warwickshi...9D08380256FFF00520084

that's ok boxtops! Thanks for the link will have a good search through tomorrow!
The Science Museum in Birmingham is pretty good, and it is attached to the Imax 3D cinema. Between the two you can have a cracking day out.
Me and 'er indoors go to Kenilworth, Nuneaton, Rugby, Warwick and Leamington regularly. Leam. Spa is a really nice place to visit for shops etc, but for days out how about the Black Country Museum (not far away) or Coome Abbey Country Park. I suppose it depends on how you want to spend your day?
Question Author
Ooh I love the Black Country Museum!! And really want to try the Birmingham Science Museum, was a bit worried it was just for children but have heard a number of people saying they've been without children in tow!
Houchenshead- what on earth do you find to do in Rugby!?
Oooh, Bac. Did you get out of bed the wrong side honey.
Do you want a big squishy hug??
there's drayton manor in tmaowrth if you like theme parks, or the snowdome otherwise avoid tamworth its full of eejits
Question Author
Yes, also love Drayton Manor, we usually save that for the summer though so when we come off Stormforce we're not absolutely freezing lol! Really wanted to go to the snowdome at Christmas when they have the reindeer but didn't get round to it, might be worth a look now though! Thanks for all the suggestions, they are brill!
I live in Northamptonshire and I cannot think of one single thing to do...!!
Question Author
lol ummm! I think that's often the case with your home town/county, we get loads of tourists coming to Rugby but can't imagine anything particularly exciting about it, hence my question to Houchenshead!
