Have you ever had anything handmade! Anyone knitted you a cardi, baked you a cake etc! I have bought a beautiful box of 30 handmade greeting cards from TKMAX just cost me £7. thats a bargain!
Made me think about doing my own hand made cards and other items!

My mum used to make her own cards oscarina and they were beautiful. She also used to knit (so well in fact, they used to sell her stuff in the local craft shop), embroidery, macrame, crochet, paint, pottery etc. etc.

And what can I do? Spell! Great!

My friend is a fantastic cake baker and she makes me a cake nearly every week.

She makes fruit cakes, marble cake and light sponges. My fave is her fruit cake with nuts in and on top.

My best friend makes miniatures (you know -stuff for dolls houses). All the stuff is made to scale, she gets all the minutest details exactly right and they areabsolutely fabulous. She sells them on ebay & makes a fluffin fortune!

my mum and my sister make their own cards.. I'm afraid it doesn't work for me. some of them look nice but they're basically nice stickers on card. I don't get it!

I don't like hand-knitted clothes either, but I'd be over the moon if someone made me any food, cakes, sweets, dinner, etc :o)

Craft fairs = 40 tables full of sh1te.....

TKMAX don't make greeting cards, they will be handfinished cards made in a factory somehwhere, someone wilk be paid to stick the bits on the front.

I think TKMAX is so so expensive and I would never buy anything from them!

funnygirl agree TKMA can be quite expensive but you can pick up some unique items! They don't reduce items as much as you would like them to do but the same applies with most stores

My sister in law does stunning beadwork, she makes some fabulous jewellery, also does patchworking etc. - she's given me some lovely handmade gifts from time to time.
