i am a stay at home mom and i believe if im not going out or having visitors why get dressed. me and the kids often have days when we sit about in our pjs all day. but when i do go out i enjoy getting dressed up and putting make up on
I know how you feel, I used to wear make-up every day, but now when I'm at home, I tend to leave my face get some air and go natural. Everyone always says that I don't look too well and then I have to explain that I have no make-up on!

My hubby doesn't seem to mind, but when I get all dolled up, he comments how I look nice! I think the same when he says it to me!

i dress more smart if im meeting friends etc. but if im staying at home, i cannot bothered to do make up, or wear accessories stuff at all. would that make your bloke feel you less attractive?
BTW, i still thinking what the best way to break his leg if he say it again.

:) andrea, i stopped using makeup since last year i got allergy, red rush on my face, they all gone now, but i still prefer only wearing them when i go out.
i think my bf just kidding, but curious to know how other people feel. as heard any stories before when people in long term relationship, pay less attention to appearance which cause the relationship failed stuff. xx
Actually, I do feel better and in a better mood if I am wearing make-up, so I can totally believe that a relationship can have problems. But not for the reason that my hubby is less attracted to me, but because I have a go at him for me feeling bad about myself!

Interesting really, now I think about the way I get when I'm not weraing anything!

Not sure how true it is for others though, just what I think! x x
I wear makeup pretty much every day, mostly because I have very fair skin and hair and tend to look rather under the weather without makeup! I totally agree with Andrea, my mood is so different just from doing my hair and makeup. But then we do have days where neither of us bother getting up properly and those days I just whack my hair in a ponytail and leave my face to the elements. I think it depends on what kind of makeup you do though, I'm talking just base and concealer and mascara to give me some colour, not eyeshadow and lipstick etc - that would probably look overblown for a day at home in jeans!
Every day it goes on! I am a Beauty Therapist though, so it's like putting clothes on to me. Saying that, I do have the odd day without it and I'd never wear it on the beach or by the pool on holiday like some people do - that's just wrong!
Tell him you used to fancy him more before you realised that he was incredibly shallow ... or ask if he would use wrinkle filling cream as you have noticed he has 'aged a bit ' since you started going out with him! lol. Cheeky blighter.
Because you are concentrating on the negative rather than the positive. Perhaps you find it difficult to accept compliments.

Try imagining what would have happend if you'd smiled and said thank you.

Just a different point of view.

Good one sense4all, I like that. I don't wear make-up unless I go out and I feel so much better when I've got it on, but my bf says he prefers me without it (I guess because he knew me for months before he ever saw me in it as opposed to meeting me when I was wearing it).
Well I don't wear much makeup anyway, but i don't blame women who do, if it makes them feel nicer about themselves. i think it's an individual choice really.

nice replies:))) sense4all, he is very sensitive about it tho, i orbably wont dare to make the jokes lol
banjosister, yeah, i didnt get annoyed too much after i punched him and punished him to do houseword;))

makeup does make women look nicer, i am worrying they damage skin tho, so try not use too often unless i need to. sepcial for interviews!!!! heheh
Lol! I can't be bothered with makeup when I'm down in the stables pitching dollops of horse sh@t around - but as soon as I'm able to, I come in, have a bath, and make myself look presentable.
