Don't worry, I'm 5 weeks pregnant on my second and the day I found out I was hit with a wave of anxiety about it. Not sure why really, but I suspect it was the prospect of change.

now I realise that the change that happened with my first was fab and wouldn't have it any other way now!

We humans are creatures of habit, anything that diverts us makes us worry, but the process is slow enough for you to get used to it and prepare. You'll be glad you did!
how old is too old ???
I read in the newspaper a few weeks ago about a woman who had her first child natrually (no IVF etc) at 70. So i wouldn't worry about being too old, who decides what is too old anyway?
Good luck! x
it's fearing the unknown isn't it? you don't know how you'll feel being pregnant, you can't compare it to anything. it's perfectly normal. when you see your baby on the screen at your first scan, you'll be over the moon. (i'm sayin this... i'm not a mum... yet) good luck x
When I first found out I was pregnant, I had a load of mixed feelings - we desperately wanted our baby, but I was worried about whether it would affect our relationship which, up till then, had been wonderful. No worries, though - once we saw the first scan, we were both absolutely besotted with the little one (who's now 18, by the way). Yes, of course you'll be wondering how it's going to affect your lives - and it will, tremendously, but once you've got them, you'll never want to be without them!! Good luck, K xx
