Hello, i am approx 5/6 weeks pregnant with HCG levels taken last week which doubled every 48 hours. I go for a scan next week.... and so wondering as the levels increased does this mean all will be ok? Or as i am still early does this mean nothing until i am 13 weeks and over.

The usual worries before ultra sound scan!!!!

This should read 5 or 6 weeks!! Thanks
It is normal for the hCG levels to double every 48-72 hours until they peak at around 8-11 weeks, then plateau, so what you describe sounds normal Bridget.
Ultrasound results are far more accurate that hCG levels as an indicator of foetal development.
