Will the flat be rented? If so, I'm not sure exactly what there would be to share!

i am thinking more in the region of if we divorce and he gets his share of the house money and assets, then how long till she can be entitled to half of his share
Well I suppose that is something he will have to think about but it will not affect you unless you are thinking of your children's inheritance ??? All you can do is advise him to be careful to keep good records - however if he is madly in love then who knows.

To be honest i dont think he is, he has told her he will come back to me the moment I ask,, have asked him to make his will to the boys and put them as next of kin, but he insists he is not changing anything!! Obviously he will need to rethink when divorce is started.
I dont think he is thinking straight, it has only been 3 weeks since i asked him to leave and already he is moving into a 1 bedroom flat with a married Polish girl from work ,who he said has kissed him once while he was walking past her, and her 6year old son !!!!
there is no such thing as common law wife, so she will not be entitled to anything.
she is only entitled to anything if she marries him, or pays into the house for instance, such as a new kitchen or maintenance etc.

Thanks for all your replies, obviously I am very worried as I do not know enough about all of this and feel very out of control of the situation.
i know things will eventually get sorted and I will be in control of my mind and life, but t the moment that seems very far off.
I really appreciate the advice.
Thanks again!!!
legally theres no such thing as a commonlaw wife so shes not entitled to anything, good luck hun
