In one of the 2 studies that back up Raspberry leaf tea, some women started in week 39 just don't go mad with it because some animal studies showed some strong reactions in high dosages.

it tastes vile. If possible get the capsules and dont mistake it for raspberry tea, which tastes nice.
I have to say I tried it and although my baby was very very overdue i did manage a quick labour of 6 hours.
yes definately give it a go. you could put a little sugar or honey in it to make it taste better. As previously said - dont over do it though.
All the best when the time comes x

Thanks all. It's not for me. I asked my sis if she was on it and she said she couldnt find any so I bought a box for her but wondered if it was a bit late! We will see what happens......
It tastes disgusting, made me feel sick which in the circumstances was pretty annoying as I'd just got over that stage!!
I started drinking it a few weeks before due date, but it might well work a week before. Not everyone hates it though, I really liked it! I don't know if it worked, but my baby was only 4 days late, so it could've done.

Good luck to your sister!!
i didnt start taking it until the day after my actual due date, which was the friday night and my waters broke on the sunday morning at 6.30, he was born sunday night at 6.45. Really easy labour and birth! Everyone is different and it may not have been the tea that made this happen, who knows, but i think it was! Wish your sister good luck for me!
