Just tell him you'd like to chat some more online and get to know him better before meeting. How much do you know about him already, for example do you share the same interests, have a similar sense of humour etc?

How long have you been chatting on line. What do you know about him re interests and family. Does he have siblings.

Arrange for a friend to call you at a certain time and have a code word for "all is ok" and one for "help"

She can chat all she wants to online but she will never 'know' what he is really like - he could be feeding her a load of lies.

The only way forward is to meet him and if you do want to see him again, get to know him and his family slowly.
