Hi, where can I go with my family to Europe?

I’m interested in places where my wife and especially children would like, I’m a homebody myself, but my wife and I are celebrating the anniversary of living together, so I’m preparing a gift for them)

If children are travelling, I would suggest the Balearic Islands. Beautiful beaches, plenty of sunshine, lots of child friendly hotels, and a short flight from the UK.

Much depends on the time of year but if it is "standard holiday" locations you are aiming for then Portugal is easy to reach, friendly and relaxed, not overly touristy and reasonably priced.

I also note that Melvinimo has already posted a link (unrelated to travel) on another thread, leading me to suspect that he's getting paid to put spam links wherever he can.

However, if this thread is genuine, we'll need LOTS more information. For example, there's not much point in us directing you to ski resorts, which are best visited in the winter months, if you're seeking a beach holiday in August!
