Did the whole village gather round to watch?

I thought the Luftwaffe were upto no good again. ;-)
You can have ours...
Not too bad here. The pub across the road had a few, as did next door and somewhere else down the road.
Last year we had a dog staying here who couldn't stand it, so quite peaceful for us this year.

Just having silly thoughts about going to coffee/bingo morning on Tuesday, and saying to the ladies..."Oooooh, did you hear that firework on New Year's Eve?"
What if somebody says....which one, Ferlew?...... ;-)
Ferlew, that would be hilarious. You must do that! :)

I have been promised an indoor firework later - I'm not sure that is entirely a good idea on an already busy night for Fireperson Sam(antha) ...

Sounds like a euphemism to me Sunnydave ;)
Oh it's the indoor fireworks I bought for my Christmas cake, Ferlew.....the kids wouldn't let me light them...they're still on about the chair I set fire to on Christmas eve about twenty five years ago....

Now Dave is getting the collywobbles about it...as if anything would go wrong.... ;-)
Better indoors than outdoors this time of the year, Dave.
