Exercise - Cycling!

Hi, I started running last year and at 14 stone and short it wasn't the easiest but I carried on and lost two stone eventually. I stopped exercising as I got married and needed to maintain my weight as I couldn't lose to much weight because of my dress.

I found the running very difficult but completed two 5k races this year, but being big chested and short I have found it really tough going. I have been cycling 4-5 miles, 3 times a week but I know it doesn't burn no where near as many calories as running.

My question is, with a healthy diet, can you still lose weight cycling three times a week at a moderate speed?

Thanks very much

Yes, it's simple really - expend more energy than you take in in calories
Cycling is great exercise but getting increasingly more dangerous; and might give you a bigger posterior! Swimming is much safer and exercises more muscles. Trouble is they can both improve one's appetite! If you can keep to the mantra: Exercise More - Eat Less...then the battle's over.
