Fireworks off for tonight so himself is treating us all to a sit-in curry (naan bread always seems nicer when you eat in). Can't remember the last time we had a curry.

how come they are off?
on another unrelated note, is he better - has he gone back to work etc. And on another related note, Yum, curry
I love going out for a curry and you're right the naans are much better.

Enjoy your night.
We had a nice one last night sherr. I cheated and used a jar but fried the chicken in spices first and added fresh garlic and chillies as well as mushrooms. Enjoy. We're of for a Thai
take a doggy bag for left overs....enjoy ;)

We were going to have some fireworks in a friend's garden but it's too wet and windy, we will do it another night now. Got all the children to agree to try a curry (rather than the kids meals).

Bednobs - he's fabulous, been back to normal for weeks now. If anything he is improved somehow.
great news re Mr Sher !
We kids had dahl (lentils) & rice, sausage & lil curry as our 1st intro.
Great new about Mr Sher...

My uncle had a brain injury and his personality changed dramatically....for the better.

I love poppodums...(with onions and chutney) I could almost fill up on them before the meal comes.

The curry was a success, even the things tucked into a korma and tried all the different chutneys.

Ummmm - he hasn't changed so much as his good qualities are more evident, he was good with the kids - now he is brilliant. He's more thoughtful somehow and shows more empathy (it wasn't that he was horrible before or anything). My friend was here for a Halloween party and he said he was 'improved'. All quite odd (but nice). Maybe he just realises how crappy things could have been.
Hmmm, I've just sent Mr R round to get a curry, this thread made me really fancy one :)
I fancy a curry now as well. MrAsk had a curry the other night on a lads night out. He stunk of it the next morning and the car did too. It's not as nice if only one of you has it. Pleased to hear MrSherr is back to himself.
im delighted for you and your family sher, its always nice to hear of a successful outcome from brain surgery,

The curry is a once a year treat (it's an expensive meal out for all of us). Mr S has been massively lucky and everyone is gobsmacked by how brilliantly he has recovered. It was a very intense experience but no one died (thank god) and he has no evident ongoing health problems apart from the constant bad head and metallic taste in his mouth (he's had one CT scan since when he had a severe bad head but everything was good). Has to have a check up with the brain doctors in Birmingham but everything seems to be going well.
Hi sherr, has the QE totally discharged him self now ?.
Oh right, crossed posts there, sherr.
Question Author
Waiting for his follow up appointment to come through Tony.
Ok, sherr, good news about him getting back to normal know.
