School Proms - When Do They Finish?

Can anyone give me a date when all school proms will likely be finished?

when do the kids break up for summer holidays? would they be all over by then?

No idea about proms, that'll be down to individual schools but seeing as most of the kids are probably leaving I'd say they're over by the end if term. Mine break up 24th July, bit later than the average I think.

The dates will vary but all schools should have broken up by around 20th July. I'd have thought the prom nights would be over a little before then.

I'm glad we didn't have all this fuss and expense when I was leaving school. Prom dresses can cost a parents several hundred pounds and then there's the costs of limo hire and the meal

If it's any consolation they won't get any less holidays overall over the course of the school year but I can see they'd rather have holidays when the weather is better

I tell them that till I'm blue in the face, makes no difference. I'm also hindered by the fact that they've got 2 days shy of 6 weeks holiday, they go back on Tues 4th, all their friends have just over 6 weeks lol. What they seem to forget is, every Oct half term they have the Thurs and Fri before it as inset days.
