perhaps its going to the mother...
if they are staying in FT education it's usually till their 19th birthday.
If you went through the courts at the time surely it was stipulated how long you were to make the payments - didn't you get a court order or anything in writing?
ps RH, i am 37 - should my parent's still be giving me money to maintain me??
As I pointed out to my ex when he wanted to stop paying for out son who was in full time education....he'd be paying a damn sight more if he were still living at home! As a parent you don't just cut off your kids because they turn 18, in my opinion it was far more important for my son to concentrate on his studies and not have to worry about money! He [my son] took great joy in telling his Dad to stuff his money, that he gave begrudgingly when he got his first job the day after he left college!
