I'm a sun seeker so I've been looking online all this week! Sorry you can't go abroad but yes there are great places to go in UK.
Where are your favorite UK places slinky?
Yes, we booked about two months ago, we always plan well ahead!
Devon's South Hams is a lovely area if you like somewhere quiet. For me, I need the sun

i went to braemar in october, and i loved it,so quiet and peaceful,i like blackpool but just for about 4 days,i want to go to brighton, son says its fab,i fancy the isle of man as well and then i might take a couple of 'mystery bus tours'
Question Author
rosetta i.ll keep that place in mind
It's lovely here in Kent, particularly the rural parts, kate - but Brighton and the Sussex villages are nice too. Bristol's interesting. In fact there are so many parts of the UK which are good, if we could only guarantee the weather!
I can't think that far ahead. I usually book a few weeks off work to start with then book a holiday nearer the time.
I`m not fussed, my wife books it all and then tells me the dates and where we`re going

Question Author

I do hope you enjoy London slinky. There is soo much to do and soo much to see.
Its downfall is its soo expensive, so I hope you're loaded, you'll need every penny.

The millenium wheel is good, especially after dark (it's usually quieter then too)
You go down the Thames on an amphibious (sp) vehicle thing - can't do a link as I can't use my iPad thing properly (just google it).
There's loads to do if you like visiting here and there. London Eye is good. Once you're at the top you can see practically the whole of inner London.
