can anyone tell me how u read a boots own brand test? i miss placed the leaflet. It has the square then the circle next to it, i no that once the test as complete a vertical line appears in the circle. but in the square does anything appear if ur not pregnant? help
Usually a line appears in one window to show that the test has worked (don't know whether this is the circle or square window with the boots test). If it is a positive there will be a line in both windows, if negative there will only be a line in one window.
Hope this helps.
thats great thanx. There is a line in both windows u see and i was wonderin weather it mite be a cross in the box 4 positive an just a line for negative.
I've used the 'basic' Boots ones and I'm sure that you get a + sign in one of the windows if a positive and a - if negative. The other window will have a vertical line to show it has worked. This is so as not get confused if the result window doesn't work, the control window shows vertical line so it can't be mistaken for a negative.
I'd expect to see a +, however faint to show you are pregnant.
the exact same thing happened to me. i had the boots twin pack in my drawer and one was left but lost the insturctions.
i was just going to bin it as it had been there ages but thought i might as well use it... just for the sake of it. but a + came up in the box and a line in the other. i couldn't remember what it meant so called boots and they said your not pregnant
2 months later i discovered i was 3 months pregnant.. lady in the shop told me the wrong answer!!!!
