water in kidneys??

i had my 20 week scan and the sonographer said the baby was retaining water in one of her kidneys, the boarderline is 6.0mm and one kidney had 5.3mm and the other was 6.3mm. i have to go back for another scan at 32 weeks. i just wondered if anyone else had heard of this or had? thanks

hiya, just gonna google it for ya!

try not to worry to much, if this was really serious they would have sat you down and disgussed it properly, my sister had a scan at over 26 weeks ( cant remember exactly now) and they said the baby had water on the brain!! which basically means the baby would possibly be handicaped, but he came out fine!!!
