Morning! I haven't lookedat the link yet, I will check it soon. I am grabbing some breakfast whilst madam is being quiet - she's engrossed in the weather on TV at the mo. How is Menna? Emilia is nearly 7weeks now, I can't believe it. She's smiling at everyone and chattering away, and such a little lump now! How old is your little one now? How are you feeling after the c-sec?

Menna is fine, she's 4 weeks now... gone sooooo quick hasn't it?

I can't wait to see her smile, that first one is precious! She's so much more alert now and putting on weight like mad! She's going to be a little pudding me thinks!!!!

I'm fine myself, still a bit tender but made worse as I had a car accident 2 weeks ago and my neck and stomach is a bit sore! We're all ok thank goodness, but my poor car is a write-off!

:0(((
oh andrea, you poor thing! at least your car took most of the jolt and you are all ok. i hope you get the insurance sorted with no hassle.

Amelia is now almost 6 weeks old so have i missed a week or something as Im sure Emilia was 2 weeks older, or is my brain that fuddled?

Amelia slept through for first time on Tuesday! shame she didnt last night lol but tuesday she went from 9.30pm to 6.30am!

Shes porrly at moment, her belly button got an infection which has caused a growth of flesh. It sounds worse than it looks and we didnt realise what it was, even HV didnt. So shes now on antibiotics as cream didnt work. They are talking of having to cut it out if it doesnt go :(

Hope both your babies are doing well xx
oh and sorry, i saw that link last week. Its hilarious isnt it!

Andrea, you're certainly putting your bod through it's paces recently! Glad to hear you're all ok though.

Red, Emilia will be 7weeks on Sunday :-)
She is kind of sleeping through now, the past four nights she has gone to bed at 7/8ish and has slept through until 5am and then slept on until usually 8.30 but as I type she is still akip! I am thinking of increasing her bedtime feed so that she mightn't wake at 5 and go through until 7 or something. I shall see how the next few night go!

Poor Amelia, hope her bellybutton doesn't bother her too much. I have Emilia booked in for her jabs now on 12 June :-(
if Emelia is sleeping from 6 til 5 then perhaps try a dream feed? Amelia wont dream feed so i have no luck there.

But she does feed then go straight off through night. At 6.30 this morning though she woke up and started to smile and laugh at the wall lol
lol if only i'd heard this 9months ago! such a "wonderful" experience pregnancy!!

Red - bless, it's awful when they're not well. Wish we could go through it for them! hope Amelia gets better soo!

Nat - Yes, think I've done enough to my body now LOL, I will certainly take it easy for a little while!!! Well done Emilia sleeping thorugh! Finders cross Menna will follow suit!!!

I live in hope lol x x x x
Never heard of a dream feed but I have looked it up and am now going to have a go! This is now the fifth night that she has gone from 8ish til 5ish and then back off until 9ish. I will try dream feed tonight and report back - you may have just gained me a full night's slep and a lie-in Red - woohoo!
i hope you can do same for me! Amelia went 8.30, 1am, 5am then 9am.

Morning ladies :)

Awww youve all still got little ones! lol Holly will be 16 weeks on Monday, nearly four months old! She will have her 3rd lot of injections next week and Im dreading it because she will have to have 3 :( Shes bad enough after 2!

What is a dream feed? Ive never heard of it either. Is it where you feed them while youre still alseep because Ive done that a few times lol Hollys night time routine keeps changing. She was sleeping from about 7-8pm then waking 4-5 am, going back to sleep and getting up 7-8am. Then she started waking twice in the night, 1-2am then 5-6 am, still getting up 7-8 am. As waking more again can be a sign shes ready for solids, plus shes showing a few more signs, we started her on solids a few days ago. She has a little bit after her tea time bottle and now she seems to be back to waking just once again at 4-5am. When she gets up in the morning, she never seems in a hurry for her bottle and can sometimes be awake for an hour before taking anything. I would love to know about theses dream feeds though!

andrea, hope none of you was too shaken by your accident and Im glad youre all ok.

red, poor little Amelia but remember, if she has to have it removed, she will be fine and not bothered by it at all, it will be worse for you than for her so try not to worry too much :)
From what I understand Psy, if you put baby to bed at, say, 7ish and she sleeps until 5am for a feed then back off until 8 (like mine), then you feed them whilst they are still sleeping when you are on your way to bed, hence them "dream" feeding, and it should make them miss that 5am feed. I guess it only works if you go to bed after them though, and sometimes I am so knackered I go to sleep when she does!
Oooh, thanks natalie! I think mine is pretty much the same bedtime routine as yours in that she goes from 7-8pm to 4-5am. She was waking twice in the night again but a bit of baby rice in the day seems to put a stop to that (fingers crossed!) I tend to go to bed about 11pm so I will try and give her a feed then. I will let you know how it goes, or doesnt go lol

Yes I have heard of 'dream feed' think it was started by the 'baby whisperer'! I never tried it, but will do!

I too will let you know if it works!!!
