is there anything the doctor can give me to regulate my periods, whilst it still be possible for me to conceive. i've been off the pill for 3 months, and i know a lot of women don't conceive straight away after coming off the pill. but being on the pill was the only way to control my periods anyway. i'm so stressed! i'm just moaning....i woke up with my grumpy pants on this morning.

Before I went on the pill, I needed two D & C ops. to regulate frequent periods. They both worked for a couple of years and then the problem returned. Oral contraception fixed the problem, and I was lucky enough to get pregnant a month after coming off the pill for good, but sometimes I believe it can take 6-12 months at least. Have a word with your doctor again.
