Hi Cybil

I drank the tea rather than take the tablets. I drank about 4 cups a day from 36 weeks onwards.

I can't swear it was the tea that worked its magic but I was having proper contractions for about 6 hours and then pushing for 45 mins. This is apparently very good for a first-time labour.
I think its worth taking Raspberry Leaf Tea just in case it does work.

Good luck x
I drank Raspberry leaf tea from about 36 weeks and my son was born term +4. My labour was quite quick.......I would drink it again, I am sure it was the tea that did it.
I can assure you that raspberry leaf tea works. Not sure about the tabs, but I made the tea up myself, & you can also buy it as teabags. I drank it 4 times a day from being 6 month's pregnant (not supposed to take it under 3 month's as it can enhance contractions). My first labour was long and tiring (25 hour's), but the birth itself was easy. I needed no pain relief, and calmly held my partner's hand as it happened. I also needed no stitches, so I drank the tea throughout my 2nd pregnancy. The birth took 6 hours from start to finish, and it was wonderful. Yes - I'd advise the it!

It's reassuring to hear that you all seem to have fairly quick and simple labours! I'm starting to panic about my iminent arrival, I'm focusing on the fact women go back more than once, therefore can't be that bad!!!!!!
