You either 'just know' or it 'just happens' it just happened for us, a beautiful little surprise!

You will know when you are ready, its not really an answerable question lol

I was 19 with my 1st and wish i had waited. I was 27 with my 2nd and am happy with that but would have done it a bit earlier had i been in the right relationship But thats just me!
I was 23 when my gorgeous little surprise came along, which i think is an ideal age. I'm 27 now and in a different relationship and hoping for another very soon!
Had i not been on my own with my first i would probably have had more by now. Its a personal choice of course but for me in your 20's is great.
Everyone feels ready at different ages and there is no right age to have children, there are pros and cons for all ages.
I'd say just follow your hearts....!
you're pretty much in the same situation and age as me and my hubby. we've decided to start planning a family. the fact that you're both thinking about it is a good start! get his willy out before he says no!
I was 28 when I had my first child. My god-daughter is pregnant with her first child and she's only 20. It's a different age for everyone - you'll know when it's the right time. In fact when it's the right time you won't need to ask!
I had my first baby at 41, followed by my second when I was almost 43. Some people'd be horrified by the idea, but I had natural, not-too-painful births and both children are healthy and beautiful. Being an older mum, i find that I have more patience. I've also had a great time before "settling down", so have been able to travel, fulfil my working ambitions - and have a fun, child-free life before my family came along. This wouldn't suit everyone, & I can only say that it's up to the two people concerned. There's no "ideal" time, but I can now afford to stay at home with the children & look after them myself.
If you wait until you feel really ready, you may never get round to it!! I was 23 and 25 with my two kids and they were both planned. Loved every minute of it! I'm 31 now, and feel really old (may just be 'cos I'm running round after two kids!!) - can't imagine having another one at this age. Wouldn't mind if it happened though. If you think you can probably manage with money, then chances are you can, go for it! You just won't be buying that Mercedes any time soon! lol!
