Hi happyred. I had my first hiccup experience in the bath on Saturday. At first I thought it was kicks but the movement was a lot smaller than the usual boots and it was rhythmical so it must be hiccups. It was the cutest thing. I still haven't felt him jump at loud noises yet but I can't wait.
arent they such a funny feeling, lol i remember it well.
My son jumped at very loud noises. Late one night my boyfriends alerter went off for a fire call and I remember that bubs jumped one way as i jumped the other, was a bit painful as i was about 8 months gone by then and there was little room for him to move about in by then.

I've not felt him jump at loud noises either yet! But am looking forward to it! He seems to like being in the car though...always kicks loads when we're on the motorway! ;0)
Awww that so sweet!! I'm 29 weeks on Saturday.... never really listened for the hiccups!

But just watching my belly move about is amazing, so i know exactly how you feel!!

It's such a fascinating thing and we're all so lucky!! xxx
Oh yes, my two daughters were both very hiccupy..it felt very strange, and I am sure the vibrations of the hiccups would make me wanna pee!

Crikey yes..the movements. One of my daughters would lay on one side and push her legs onto the other side of my belly as if she was stretching. My stomach often took on very strange shapes :o) Mr P reckons they used to do the 'Mexican Wave'..
My first had hiccups at least once every day for about the last 2 months of pregnancy - everybody in the office likes to come and have a "feel"! have to warn you though, after he was born, he had that projectile vomit thing and I had to feed him wrapped in a sheet!!! 2nd rarely hiccuped and was almost never sick.

I'm 29 weeks on saturday too nat_84! What a great coincidence! ;) And yes, we women are all so lucky to experience this...it's the greatest thing!
happyred - yaaay! So are u due on 14th July? or around mid-July? Thats strange!!
Question Author
Hi nat. Yes i'm due the 14th July! you too? do you know what you're having yet?
oooooh how funny is that!? Have a feeling i'm going to go slightly over my due date as baby's a bit small :o( But she's growing well at her own pace! :o)

Yes we found out we're having a little girl!! So exicted!!!! What about you? did you find out? How's ur pregnancy been so far?

We're having a boy!! We went for a 3D scan at 25 weeks. It was really cool...we saw his face and everything!
I had quite a hard time at the beginning, with being sick all day, every day, and had to go into hospital over the new year. But thankfully that's all now subsided...although i do occasionally feel sick.
I read your comments on the baby bump question...i've just got a bump too, and can still fit into my size 10 jeans! And also, i've got no stretch marks!!!!.......Yet!! :-)
Awwww! I really want a 4D scan.. found them freaky looking at first but saw my boyfriends sister have one (she's due on 4th June!) at thought it was amazing!

Yeah i had pretty bad sickness during the first few months, thought i had food poisoning when my first test came back negative! Had to run to the toilet after everything i ate!

I cant believe u still fit into ur jeans!! I'm in maternity trousers and jeans from now on! luckily baggy tops or smocks are in fashion so bought plenty of them!

As for strech marks - i'm doing fine FOR NOW!! Havent got any! I think i'm more concerned about the excess fat/skin after the birth... but was told that it drops of whilst breastfeeding! x

Hi nat. I've been away frm the computer for a few days! Hope you're well.
Since i told you that i wasn't being sick anymore, i've been sick the past three mornings! tut!
I wouldn't worry about the excess skin and fat...i've also got a 4 yr old son, and i breastfed him for 14 months. It completely sucked all the excess off of me! I was in fact 2 dress sizes smaller after the 1st year...and that definitely wasn't through excercises bcuz i didn't do any!! ;) Breastfeeding is definitely the best way to keep slim after the birth. I'm guessung you are going to? One little tip though...obviously breastfeed for as long as you see fit, but this time i'm not going to do it for any longer than 6 months if poss. My breast size reduced by 2 cups!! The only down side to me doing it for so long the 1st time round! xx
