Manage to get beans in ur local did you? That's pretty good going.
Good luck getting some beans then....
Sounds gross but it’s a nice change of topic Sparklykid :0)
does sound gross to be honest....
I'm having left over from last night meatballs and spaghetti for dinner. I fancied a ttartiflette but all the spuds looked a bit eugh
Baked beans?
I don't think it sounds gross. Sounds absolutely fine to me, as long as the beans are baked and on the side, not strained and put into the omelette.
i think the idea is to mix the whole lot together..
Oh what a relief, a thread not about the ruddy virus!! This sounds quite tasty to me, but then again I love onions, they make anything tasty.
Pregnant, Sparkles?
What's a ttartiflelette?
I hate onions but like them raw like in cheese and onion, I see slimy worms looking at fried onions ,yeuck but I put them in my bolognese ,soups and chillis :0/
I like them cooked, raw or crisped up.
georgesgirl, a tartiflette is a dish made from potato, bacon and onions and of course, reblochon cheese. They have it in the Alps a lot. I had it first tiem skiing it's lovely I advise it to everyone but I put broccoli, leaks and celery in mine.
So ez, very bad for you but very filling! Good if you have COVID-19 deffo ;)

Great taste.
That sounds very nice TheDevil, but I'd pass on the broccoli, not too keen on that. Very tasty sounding dish.
Sounds like you'd enjoy the traditional! (the french would kill be for putting a brocoli in it)

Funny wuote from the Guardian "A warning: don't even think of making this unless there's a chill in the air and you've been out in it, working up an appetite. Stupidly uncomfortable boots and damp thermals are entirely optional, but you will need to be hungry."

I could easily demolish it in a summers day as I could a cold winter eve.
I'm always looking for new things to cook, I will seriously give this a try next time I have friends round. Could always do a side of brocolli for those who like it.
