yes JJ, finding the right words to say in a case so sad..
he was a self made millionaire...had it all
but money doesn't help in tragedy...
thanks JJ x
No words are ever right, are they.

What can you say?

Sometimes it's just good to have your friends around you.
no parent should see their children die before them,
hope you get through this and your friends x
You'll have to be strong for your friends as they will need all the emotional suport they can get at the moment.Even if its making cups of tea for people coming around or nipping to the shops fror them or crucially being a listening ear as all they will want I expect is to talk about him.
Youre the perfect friend for the job Joy -be strong hun xxx
(money is irrelevant -I think its his age and the young family left is the shocking thing-tragic)
Question Author
Just came back, it was an aneurysm which was so bad, had he survived it, he would have been in a vegetative state for the rest of his life...
thanks once more x
Hey thats what friends are here for -dont go bottling things up now Joy.Speak any time you feel like it -it does help and im sure all your friends will be here to support you when you need to talk.♥ x
Im sure the family were grateful for your visit-its going to be a hectic time for them so they'll likely lean on you more when things quiten down and the reality hits them as they will still be in deep shock.
Tak care x
At least he wouldn't have suffered bobbi, and that's the most any of us can ask for. A sudden death is always a real shock, brings home our own mortality all of a sudden. All you can do is to be there for your friend and their family, if they need you.
Sorry to hear of your bad news Bobbi
Question Author
thanks Greed, I appreciate that, I am filling in a bit of time before we go back out again, we will go to the pub and watch England, we can't do anything for our very dear friend at this stage...but be there for him yet not 'crowd' him, he knows where we are 24/7, it'll be afterwards when we will be needed most I think, and we will be there x
Joy...where was the aneurysm?
Question Author
in his brain sqad x
Joy, so tragic and I know you will be there to support your friend after yet another sad loss.xx
Question Author
from what I can pick up, he was feeling unwell a week back and collapsed, he was hospitalised , where he was operated on twice, he lives away so this happened over a period of a week, but I haven't seen his dad for that time as he was there when his son was so ill.
Question Author
yes mamy, we will, it is very tragic indeed, but it's our friend who will need the support of all of us now x
Joy... a bit of useless information for you.

Survival rate for a ruptured cerebral aneurysm 50 years ago was 40%
Today....50 years on, the survival rate is................40%.........exactly the same.
Question Author
I believe his wife was asked if she would like to turn the life support off sqad, as the brain just kept swelling, things are a bit sketchy at the moment and now isn't the time to ask our friend , the exact run of events which led to his sons untimely death
but as always, thanks for your input sqad :-0)
Joy....I quite understand.
Hello Bobbisox, Squad and everyone !
Sorry about your problems Joy, your friends are lucky to have someone such as yourself and Bill to comfort them in their hour of need. ' A friend in need is a friend indeed' comes to mind ! x
