Garmard has been telling me how he believes this to be his spiritual home and I have been trying to convince him that he should indeed move here.

lol
Redman Guy Fawkes went to St Peter's School (very posh) and until recently the boarders weren't allowed a bonfire as it was considered poor form to burn an old boy.
I love the place, I wanna move there !
planted under a bridge somewhere .......no fluff I'm not one of the affluent southerners.
The city of York..My spiritual home. The only place i can seek solace in this manic world. A town of the ancient built up from the Roman city of Eboracum on the orders of Septimus Severus in about 44 AD. I suppose all i can actually write about is the good points because that is all i see in York and the surrounding beautiful undulating hills of the Vale of York. I distinctly love the museum which takes me at least half a day to walk round, the gothic built Minster standing proud as it has for nearly a thousand years, The narrow medieval snickleways that intertwine and give York its unique character.........I love the place, need i go on?
Question Author
LMAO looks like Answerbankers are loving York - maybe you should all move this way, one happy family =)
You never know where you'll end up......... McFluff keep running I think she's gaining on you. lol

I used to got to York a lot and my brother still goes, but the tourists prices are a bit steep. Nice place to live though.

It is unique. I thin kwhen you live here you take it for granted a bit. We used to come here to visit when I was really young and I loved it. I guess when you live somewhere for such a long time, you become complacent.
i was being polite.....
Me and my wife go every Christmas Eve as well as the few times inbetween.
York is the only other place, apart from my home town, that I feel truly comfortable in and the only place I would consider moving to.
