just as the pavements were getting clear its snowing again, whats it like where you are?

It's been snowing all morning. It took my BF 3 hours to travel 4.5 miles this morning. Looks like he might be late home from work....This is not a bad thing as I can be lazy for longer :-)

I'm not attempting to move the car again though...

Been snowing all morning. Our pavements are nowhere near clear, although the road is, and that's where we are all having to walk! Despite my road being a bus route it has been gritted only once, and that was before Christmas.

Another 3 inches on the Hampshire/Surrey border. Another 7 mile round trip walk to work. I do feel for people who have to drive, its not easy. Take care!

I had an attempt at driving this morning....that's why I won't be bothering now. Luckily my youngest son is going to my Mum's (yay) and my older son walks home...

completely clear but the local school is closed except for exam years my daughters year who have a show in a few weeks due to there being something wrong with the water !

Another 3 inches in East Sussex as well. Hubby has to go to work this evening so I will be worrying myself sick about him driving home at midnight through the country lanes.

Locally where I live, the snow hadn't thawed out from last time, so we've got fresh snow on top the old.

But in the West End where I'm working it has all melted and is one big puddle!

Snowing here, has been since half four this morning. Road outside our house is ok as it's a main road but didn't go into school placement today as worried I'd get stranded, have checked the website and they're closing at 1 anyway as it's getting worse there too.

its not the snow but freezing rain, the roads are like an ice rink, loads of accidents. just pressing the brake pedal sends cars in a skid. best not to drive in the east midlands at the moment
