I am a single mum to three children one who is autistic/disabled. My boyfriend has just left me after i miscarried his baby and i am finding it hard to cope. I live down south in Wiltshire and all my family live up north in Lincolnshire and i am now desperate to move to be near them for their support. Does anyone know of anywhere that i can get help/advice on doing so. I need to do this asap as i am at the end of my tether. thanks for any help.

Sounds like a nice guy! Is he the father of the other three - in which case can he be persuaded to do the right thing, if he doesn't want you any more?

You will also need to let ABers know where you live at the moment - is it in a property rented or otherwise in your name or the BF? If it is social housing can you do a swap with somebody in Lincolnshire?

Sorry to hear of your troubles - I hope you can find a solution or some better advice than this..
Hmm, sounds tricky -for what it's worth, I've found these:

http://www.netmums.co...rt/Special_Needs.441/
http://www.onlymums.o...on_special_needs.html
http://www.oaasis.co....O2EoJ8CFdQB4wodkVUStA
http://www.special-needs-kids.co.uk/

Apologies if one (or none) of these is not appropriate to you -though it may be a start and there may be links from one of these sites that could be of use.

I hope you find a solution.

Thanks for ur help guys. sorry i wasnt specific enough......my boyfriend thats just left me was only the father of the baby i lost, thankfully he isnt the father to my other three boys. I currently live in a council house here but would be looking to move to council or private rented in lincolnshire. Not easy when i have trouble with credit ratings :-(
As you're in cuncil accomodation you may be able to get a swap which would be the simplest course, although this may take time.

I've found the netmums site (link posted by Mustardmit above) to be very friendly and supportive in the past, both personally and for advice.

Take care and good luck x
http://www.councilexchangesite.co.uk/, why not go to your local council offices and look in the book they have there for exchanges.
I can't offer you any advice or anything like that.

But, as a father of a lad with autism, if there is anything i can do to help then please let me know.
