Hi, my 18 mth old grand-daughter was jumping on her trampoline last night and slipped and fell awkward onto the base of it, which has resulted in her breaking the bone just under her knee, she is in a thigh cast for about 4 weeks, is there such a thing that my daughter can put over the cast to keep it dry while bathing her. Any advice appreciated. Thank you

Hi you can buy special plaster cast covers here
http://www.betterlifehealthcare.com/products.p hp?catID=15&subID=327 but personally I think they're a bit expensive - you could just cover it with a thick plastic bag, which I have done in the past!

Thanks Carolew for info, but i think with a bag over it,it would prob still get it wet as she is still only a little tot she will splash and maybe get the water inside.
I would google plaster cast covers and see which comes up the cheapest. My sister got one for her daughter when she broke her arm and it was brilliant. She could go swimming and everything in it. Sorry I can't remember which site it was from.
Hope your grand daughter isn't suffering too badly. Trampolines are so dangerous aren't they?! Shame they're so much fun! My 5yr old loves hers and thankfully hasn't fallen off yet!
i did the same thing last year (not jumping on a trampoline mind you)
I got a cast cover off an internet site - just searched on google it was about 15 quid. Howeevr when i was in hospital, they just covered it with a bin bag with tape and it was ok
cover it with a couple of black bin liners and if you have one shower her instead poor little mite xx
