My daughter has two or three spots on her torso, i thought they might be chicken pox as they have a little head on them. They are not really a blistery head though, more a little yellow head like a pimple.
They are very red itchy and so i'll take her to the dr in morning.
In the meantime though, a friend suggested they might be puberty spots. I've never heard of these before, what are they?

I've never heard of puberty spots, either. I would be interested to know what they are.

Could your friend mean acne? As in, some people get acne during puberty?

yes, could be acne. Seven is pretty young for puberty though not impossible these days.

I think your friend meant as elginred's just put. At the onset of puberty when hormones are flooding the body, this can cause spots and pimples. It's not unknown for this to happen early though, although 7 seems to be incredibly young. Our eldest child was diagnosed with "gross maturity", which meant that his body started to change when he was 9. He's almost 11 now, and very tall for his age - along with other characteristics which you'd expect to see in an older child.
Could be chicken pox. My son had something similar when he was about that age and it was chicken pox. You don't always get masses of spots it can just be a mild dose of it - is it around your area? GP will know.
