My boyfriend's ex wife and daughter recently moved into a house with the exwife's new boyfriend, and has refused to tell my boyfriend the address where his daughter now lives. Is she legally wrong to with hold this important information from him?

hi im not sure if she can by law but we were in a similar situation. my step son who is now 5 lives with his mother. he stays with us at weekends. we used to have many problems with the ex sop when we moved house my partner refused to tell the ex our new address. she said she wanted to know where her son was staying so stopped him coming to stay. we went to court and they suggested that another family member had our address who the ex was still in contact with and then if there was ever a problem she would know who to ring first to get hold of us. we did this as we didnt want her to bring any more trouble to our door. the mutual relative had to sign a document to say that if she gave out the personal address then the father would lose all rights to have the child stay over.
can you not do this. maybe she dont want you to have the address because she feels you will ruin her new relationship
If she has sole 'Parental Responsibility' she can pretty much do what she likes. He can appeal against her decisions but I don't think he has any legal claims or rights as such.
