Hi everyone
i have an eight year old son who has autism. We wanted to to something special to celebrate his coming birthday [9] but having a party room in wacky warehouse-type set up is too manic for him. Also he's getting to the age where other kids his age are less tolerant of him and swtich off because they don't connect with the way he wants to interact so a kids party would be a bit of a no-no, so we wondered if anyone had any ideas for us to make it a great day for him. Last year we took him to Splash Landings at Alton Towers which was nice but not particularly special. Any thoughts would be welcome. Thanks

LEGOLAND! Obviously I don't know your son but friends of mine have a little boy who is "on the spectrum" and he just loves the order and intricate details of lego - it's just an idea but might be worth some thought.

Best of luck.
