hi i have just passed my test and i am searchimg the net for sum privatly used cars to buy is there any one who knows of any sites, i have tried ebay,auto trader and the loot but cant find much on them............thanxs

If you are looking to buy a car off a stranger, privately make sure you do a history check on the car before you buy it. You can pay to do it online for about �15 I think but it's worth it to make sure the car is not written off or under someone elses finance.

I would suggest that instead of looking on the net you concentrate on your local newspaper. There is no shortage of cars on the market and unless you wanted a special edition car there is no point.
