Three questions in one here: Which site do most teens go to in order to read other people's blogs? Which site would you (as parents) prefer them to go to? Do their preferred sites match yours, and why/why not? Basically, I'm looking to get onto a blog site that's frequented by teenagers. This is not some kind of pervy thing, you understand. Basically I just want give one of my books a bit of a boost via a blog. No point blogging at a site they wouldn't be seen dead on or aren't allowed access to.

Try Myspace, more of a profile site, but it has a blogging facility. Livejournal as well, though i think this is more adults. Myspace is your best bet though.
every young person has a myspace page it seems.

I'd say Myspace - it is a better way to promote something. My husband uses his to promote his books etc.
Myspace is excellent, but one that hasnt been mentioned is the one that comes with MSN messenger. Many teens use this to stay in touch with friends.

Thanks for this, guys. I've gone ahead and got myself a Myspace login. Will be blogging there shortly.
