Can anyone recommend a good national network of pet sitters. I'm having a terrible time finding someone to look after Toby. Using a service I'd used with Sally and Caspar, I found a local gentleman but he cancelled do to unexpectedly being called away to work. Then a lady through the same service...after not contacting me for 2 days she had an invite to go away. Left details with a large service...no one local has replied. Emailed several local services this morning...no reply. Asked at pet shop...they don't know of anyone. Asked neighbour and he won't be around continuously. Friends are going away or not all that local. HELP!!!

I'm in Plymouth pixie.
I may have looked at that site...It's all becoming a blur.
I'm a bit wary of sites that want personal contact info upfront, or reviews for sitters are 3-4 years old.
Fair enough...I'll look further x
How long for and do you want them to live in or just visit to feed etc.? I can ask on my dog groups if anyone can recommend someone.

Just visit to feed, freshen litter...he will probably hide. They'll never see him.

A week...roughly 21 - 27/28.
Can't you take him with you?

It's been mentioned...but...
He hides as soon as anyone is at the door. So, as soon as my daughter and her partner arrive, he will disappear.
It will take some trickery.
Can you take him with you and set him up in the room you will using. Maybe invest in a baby gate in case the door is left open. Or a medium size cage set up with litter box and cardboard box hideaway for him.
