Sorry I didn't get replying to your post, but I only have internet access in work, and I had to stay at home yesterday as everyone in my family (who look after my daughter) had a tummy bug.

To answer your questions, she doesn't stare at lights or be preoccupied, shes definately not constipated, and when she is having her hysterics, she is crying and sobbing, but also shouting and screaming her head off. Are these symptoms your little one has?

I took her to the docs yesterday and he seems to think its night terrors and I accepted that, but yesterday when she woke up she was was settled and my hubby managed to get her to sleep. But this morning, she woke up, and when she realised that I was trying to get her back to sleep and Not getting up with her, she threw an ALMIGHTY tantrum, kicking the cot with her feet and hitting me in the face with her dummy (not my good little girl at all).

So I tend to think its tantrums for not getting her own way, and my hubby kinda gives into her ALOT, so I think she is at an age where she believes tantrums will get her what she wants, so I think I'll just have to be patient to see if it is night terrors or tantrums.
