Had a really long session last night...finally. Needles everywhere and now my ears have popped!!

Weeks of deafness, whooshing and hissing....all gone....☺

The radio was on when they popped and scared me witless...didn't realise I had to have it so loud.

A friend phoned moments after and for the first time for so long I could hear well in both ears....

Only down part is a friend who never stops talking is visiting shortly....I'll now have to listen....but hey....I'm happy....☺☺☺

Thank you all....Bernie...you can relax now...but this is so weird...things I couldn't hear....fridge, washer, clock ticking now seem so loud.

Acupuncture had nothing to do with your recovery.........it would have happened without acupuncture.
You should have has your ears drained with or without gromets weeks ago.

Elina....so true....it has been awkward in shops when I couldn't lip read and the phone was a no no....but it made me realise how lonely being deaf is.
I made excuses for our girl's get together last Saturday because voices were just a dull garble and it's no fun if you can't join in the "what's wrong with men" banter and half a dozen females shouting intimate secrets in a bar... well that's not on is it?....☺

Sqad...we will have to agree to disagree on that one....I felt great when I woke up...and even better now I can hear.
You know I tried to get an appointment and couldn't get one til the end of March without paying....and a darn sight more than I paid last night.

So....I'm in love with acupuncture.....but I still love you too.....♥

I love acupuncture, helped me get some relief some shoulderblade pain when I had it in physio.

Got a TENS machine now too from them so looking forward to experimenting with that, might come in as a useful distraction from itching and burning pain, got fluffin Shingles :(

Glad you're feeling better, it's surreal isn't it when you hearing breaks :) I sometimes enjoy the peace ;)
