I have just met a child from school.
After a comment it would appear there is now no such thing as a spoilt child a thick child an attention seeking child and plain nasty child. Do the parents go spend a few hours on the internet and give them special names?

cazz...oh! dear you just can't resist it can you!
Yes Sqad....and you've often mentioned your dislike of them.
sue, can you explain what you OP means?
or was it a "light the touchpaper and stand well back" kind of post?

These conditions are generally accepted world wide, some people will never accept them, they are far more comfortable just putting labels on these people.

It is difficult to accept change sometimes.
Having read your opinions of your own children and grandchildren, sqad, I think it rather rich of you to comment upon anyone else's.........or their parenting skills.

You mean labels like ADD and dyslexia.

I am not disputing the presence of learning disorders, but feel that they have been over popularised and used without scientific evidence in many cases. Scientific evidence that cannot either be substantiated or denied.
JTH...I find your post insulating and will trea tit with the relevance that it deserves.
"Insulting"^^^^
Made you feel all warm, did it..........?
Please can someone enlighten me as to who or what is a nudgescuffler?
More or less the same as what I said Sqad....
Cupid....people on the naughty step.
Sqad, as you well know I am severely Dyslexic. It has been proven that 1-10 people have some degree of Dyslexia, is that popular enough for you.

Do your own research, its pretty much the same statistics across the civilised world but that still wont convince you would it.

When I read some of your posts on her Sqad, I often find it difficult to believe that you have ever been involved in any kind of caring profession!!
Careful with those typo's Sqad, people might start thinking you are Dyselexic, but of course, you would rather just be labelled as thick!!
A 'spoilt child' is a child who has been parented badly and who has learned form the bad parenting that if they kick and scream enough they can have anything they want.
A ' thick child' is one whose peers, parents and teachers haven't bothered to fnd their skills talents or other virtues.
An 'attention seeking child' is a child who generally lacks any love or attention.
No-one in their right mind would label a child in such a disresepctful way, not ubnless they wanted to make whatever situation had precipitated the remark a whole lot worse, which in some people's cases wouldn't surprise me.
or even Dyslexic!! :)
nicely put nox ..
This is interesting now, we all have varied opinions, rightly so too, but I am agreeing with redcrx here, where is Sue and what is her opinion on this????
Well said NOX x
