What about a sparkle/glitter party? lots of glittery make-up (for the 7 going on 17s) but not too scary for your 7 year old princess.

You could use silver balls on cakes, silver balloons, get lots of glitter pens and things and say everyone should wear silver and sparkles. If you look in your local pound shop I am sure you would find inspiration.

Hope that helps - if you live in North/East London you can hire me to run it for you!!! (I am a drama teacher)

ive always found bouncing castles to be a really fun thing at a party no matter what age u are.if u have a big enough back garden u could have one erected and have a bbq
Our local leisure centre do swimming pool parties in the shallow teaching pool.  They are fun for both boys and girls and are age/maturity irrelevant.
Movie, Bowling, food
PRINCE AND PRINCESS PARTY...
your answer depends on what kind of girl she is! is she a tom-boy? or is she a girly girl? for a girly-girl i would do a butterfly princess party. visit oriental trading . com they have tons of stuff, and you can buy in bulk. good luck
we have just done a party for our son and it was pizza and bowling and went down a treat, cinema and pizza is also a good one. would also thoroghly recommend swim parties these are always good fun for kids and adults!!!
We did a cinema party for our daughters 6th and bowling for her 7th. Both were good but cinema was the best! Its really expensive tho. Having said that, our local UGC cinema only charges 2.95 a ticket before 12pm everyday and usually has a choice of a few kids films. You could watch a film then move onto McDonalds?
