My 3 year old granddaughter just asked me what the guy in scooby doo is called (not shaggy the other one) I said I thought it was Mike (for some reason I was sure it was this) She told me it wasnt Mike and that I was wrong, so the convo went back and forth, me saying 'yeah im sure its mike' and her saying 'no nana youre wrong'

In the end I decided to google scooby doo and had just opened google when she yelled 'nana I got it, its Fred' LOL as soon as she said it I knew she was right.

Have you ever been proved wrong by a toddler?

Too many times! lol

It gets worse as they get older because they become very smug at proving you wrong! Bless em!
Even if I'm right, I'm wrong! My son is very good at arguing and he is 3!
yep, I am too often out witted by my boyfriends 4 year old. Even at that age I think he often thinks I must be ridiculously stupid to say the things I do.

the other day we were in a chinese and he asked me what my wonton was, I told him and he said, 'well, it looks like a potato'. I cut it in half to show him the meat inside (deciding I should engage his curiosity) and asked what it looks like now and he looked at me as if he had never heard such a foolish question and said, rather dispairingly, 'two potatos'

Pix, I can beat that one! My 2 year old neice told me I had put her nappy on backwards! It was true too :-(

She was being trained out of nappies and was only wearing one to bed at the time and wanted me to change her, only at the time I had very little experience in nappy changing!

Oh, the shame.....
Not so much being proved wrong but comical all the same

I remember when Little Lou first started nursery, i went to collect her one day and on the walk home asked her what she'd been doing. She said she hadn't done anything, i left it a while and then went back to the subject and asked if she was sure she;d done nothing that particular morning. She said youre right mommy, i did do something. I did a poo and the teacher had to wipe my bottom

out of the mouthes of babes......
lol lou 26, my boyfriends son was the same about his days at nursery, except when I'd ask him what he did he'd always just say 'everything'. I used to ask him to expand and still he'd just say, 'I did everything', so then I'd have to list things off and he'd say yes or no abouth whether or not he'd done them, one day I said, 'what you did everything in the world?' he assure me that yes he had. So I aske, 'Did you fly to the moon?' He responded with the same desparing fasion that I mentioned earlier, 'no, there's gates round the play area to keep us all in.'
rofl! bless him! dont they make you feel daft sometimes? he sounds like a lovely little lad xx
