Am not sure where this should be asked here or in Animals & Nature.

Legally, dog poop should be lifted and deposted in the dog-dirtbin. Numpty has let his dog 'go' on the grass across the road from my house. Wintessed by my OH and myself and possibly some other neighbours.

He has a reputation (drug-dealing) which doesn't scare me but my OH is for live and let live attitude.

I also am for live and let live but not with other folks dogs shirting all over the place and least of all at my end of the street. If I see him, I will be mouthing off.

Question is, if I point this out to him nicely and he refuses to lift any future dogpoop, I suppose it's the council rather than the police I'd need to contact?

Post it through his letterbox.....or do what Jim Carrey did in Me, Myself and Irene
Yep...they probably have a dog warden who will pay him a visit and give him some friendly advice and a leaflet as the rules are usually bye-laws rather than proper ones its unlikely they will be enforced

Tempted Joe, tempted (I'lll have to watch the movie tho :D)

Rowan I haven't seen the Dog Wardens for ages, which probably explains a lot.

What really annoys me tho is the Primary 1 and 2 kiddies have fun on that stretch of grass and they could become very ill.
Film it, then notify the council.

Good idea Post, never thought of it (obviously) :)

Can I ask, what have you got on top of your dog ? Your pooch looks very much like ours, a lurcher cross
Tread carefully here Albaqwerty1 if this dead leg has any notion that you have reported him / her it could back fire on you, your house /car etc.
