Radio 2 listener, then, Baz :-))
Oh no!

I won't sleep tonight now!!

Do you have evidence of this dreadful deception and betrayal?

Yes ken - you too - :-)
Did do it, can still do it. Very easy
Don't know what you are talking about.
It really was a rubbish show
It looks like he's doing it in the gif?
He did it several times an episode. Maybe it was a false, robotic hand.
Don't know what was said on Radio 2 but watching it on YouTube, it looked more like 4-3-1 when he did it.
Yes Barry I remember it I just dont understand why you think it's not real.
I interviewed him once for the Sunday Independent and was surprised to discover he was a keen polo player with his own stable.
A conversation between Alan Carr and Matt Lucas on Radio 2 this morning inferred that Ted Rodgers could not actually do the 3-2-1 as quickly as appeared on screen. Which suggests a few takes, welded together to make it seem so?
dave, I never doubted that it was real.
Actually, this does remind me of how unremittingly dreadful this show was, even for its time.

I used to watch it and remain baffled by the supposed entertainment value in hearing utterly senseless clues, usually ending up with a version of the same result -

"Yes, the clue mentioned four wheels, and a windscreen, and seats, and steering wheel, and going for a journey .... and the journey is of course from the back door to the gate ... it's a dustbin!!!!!"

Cue even more baffling mass applause.

No wonder it's not made a comeback!!!!
