Very, I want the second prize.
Question Author
me too! Although they make first prize sound nice, why isn't the second prize at the top?
Can I swap it for 2nd & 3rd ?
Gutted! Love the Vulcan, so elegant. It's like watching a huge butterfly when she's out and about at displays :-)
Maybe it's because some people don't like flying, although the first prize would involve flying I should imagine.
Love to win 1st and 5th prize, but not sure I would enjoy hair raising flights in the 'planes
Question Author
but then why would you enter?
I think the point is that you could buy 1& 5 if you had money. But not the others
You have won 1st prize ... NO !!!!!!
I can't afford any of them anyway so I would like to win 1 or 5 rather than lose my dinner on 2 3 or 4.
I’ve flown (as a passenger) in all manner of military aircraft. Among the fast and scary stuff was a Hawker Hunter, and (joy of joys) an English Electric Lightning. I’ve been in the cockpit of a Vulcan for a “fast taxi” but alas did not fly (those with claustrophobia need not apply). But for the chance of a trip in a Spitfire I’d certainly forgo the luxury trip to Vienna.
Exciting though they may be all the flying ones would be too scary for me, in fact 5th prize appeals the most.

am I missing something on the site or is there a facility to pay online?
This the only thing I can see about payment.

Do not enclose cash. Please write a cheque payable to 'Vulcan to the Sky Trust' and enclose with the ticket stubs and any unsold books. If you buy through a 'sponsor,' they have a letter of authority from ourselves should you wish to verify their position. They have a returns form which we will track to ensure all monies due will be honoured to benefit the charity. The return address is stated on the ticket and is:

o heck, haven't had a chequebook in years
Neither have I, hippy chick.
what to do, what to do??

I was set to buy a couple of books straight off the bat there
See if you can find a phone number, you could ask if they would accept a postal order maybe.
